My first S2K was a sweet 01 in yellow. I normally don't like yellow on 99% of cars, but I thought it looked fantastic. A friend of mine of 20+ years loved the car, just not the color. He kept calling it a 'hairdressers car'! Now what the hell does that mean?? I knew it was negative, so I just ignored it. I've had a yellow,red,black, and now blue S2K's and got 50 times more compliments about my yellow one then all the other colors combined. Sometimes a couple a day, but most didn't know what it was. 100% agree with this. I typically don't like yellow cars. But after looking at dozens of s2000s in person in different colors, yellow just looked sweet. the "cherry on top" was when my wife told me, she liked the yellow the best. And she too doesn't really like yellow cars.

While stopped in traffic at an intersection, some asked
"you want to sell your car? Damn that's beautiful!". I just smiled and said NO. Haha!
