These polls are meaningless, precisely because they are not representative of the large group of members or owners. I'm sure if we did a valid poll of the entire group of members or owners, we'd find overwhelming opposition to street racing and probably any forum where it is championed.

I think we should keep the Street Encounters Forum. It adds diversity to the forum for people who want to participate and share experiences while driving their S2k. -Ken

I check out street encounters. Only because of track vids. Never do I look at the "civic vs s2000" type threads. I think there should be a video forum to show off your track vids or maybe have these put in racing and comp and get rid of street encounters.

I just love how a lot of the people who support street encounters have one argument we are trying to censor (force) street encounters to go away. Is that what is happening here? No. I post a thread and an informal poll to start a discussion about something I think is wrong with s2ki.com. When did that become censorship?? 
That is the way people change things ...they discuss the topic, the plusses the minuses and they make a decision. If you people crying censorship and saying we are trying to "force" s2ki.com into doing something could come up with some more rational points ...that would be great.
Personally I don't really care what the poll says. The fact it is close at all means a lot of people don't like street encounters. I will repeat it again. Run a poll saying who wants to get rid of "Under the Hood"...so how many say yes!
