I bought a low profile (2.5 ton??) jack from costco for $100. It works great. I can just barely get it under the side since I am lowered.
Can't go wrong with this. Includes lifetime warranty with costco.

That is exactly it. I have used it quite a bit for the last 8 months and it still works flawlessly.

I remember trying to get the damn box to fit in my trunk. Had to use my passenger seat But it's a fantastic jack. Lift's with ease and confidence, My brother and I use it almost once a week.

Yea no kidding! I took it out of the box in the wet and cold parking lot to get everything to fit. I walked around for 10 min with a big cardboard box looking for a dumpster

LOL. Just by looking at it, you think, "It'll fit perfectly!" yeah right...

I use RaceRamps Trakjax ramps and then use my normal aluminum jack to get to the front-center jacking point.

I have another car that is even lower than the S2000 with a farther reach to the jack Point so I bought an ATD-7325, which is a bit more pricey ($299 on Amazon) but will work on low cars, and so far (knock on wood) has been reliable.

Costco just (as of yesterday) received the new jack. Its aluminum and steel, twin piston. It will fit under the front lip but will not reach the front middle jack point; still have to raise the wheels. Will easily fit under the sides. Almost 19" height. $99. Broke down and got that one.

No one specifically state which ones can go directly under the front without having to drive on 2x4s. Anyone have any information on this? Thanks.
