Got bad news for honda dealer today!
i was suppose to get my 06 s2000 aug 1st like i had said in the first post, but today i get the worst call from my dealer and they tell me the when they went to pick up the car from another dealer the person that went to go pick it up crash it, now my salesman told me to think about another color because the NFR that was crashed was the last one in the tri state area and to order another one it would take three months, they have a laguna blue there that i can get but i'm not 100% about, what do you guys think i should do?

Id have them give you some money off at the very least! Someone was screwing around with your car, and crashed it! Id be pissed! Stick with the color you really want because in the end rushing always leads to regret!

Huh? Why would they go get your car now if you weren't supposed to take delivery until August 1st? I call BS, they want to unload their inventory and not get stuck with a convertible towards the end of summer. If they get you the NFR, they are still stuck with their Laguna. If they convince you the NFR is wrecked and talk you into the Laguna, they aren't stuck with any inventory. I would ask them for the name of the dealership they were picking the NFR from. Call that dealer and confirm the story. Just my thoughts.

I think the answer is clear. Laguna looks great, so do it... but you should pitch a fit and act like you are doing them a huge favor by settling for Blue. If you dont get another $1k off, then you arent being pissy enough. Definitly throw in the line, "I just dont know about buying from a dealer that would let an employee wreck a customer car, I may need to talk to Honda USA about this." That oughta be worth a couple hundred off on its own. :LOL: :thumbup:

Where are you located? I know where a NFR is right now? still in the showroom?

your only a few months away from a 2007 model, i'd wait and just tell them to order your color and try to get them to sweeten the deal or you'll take the deal to another dealership
