Got MY04 This weekend!
Well we picked up our brand spanking new 04 Silverstone/red/black this weekend in Oklahoma!
This deal was an an eBay buy it now believe it or not! I paid $500 OVER invoice or $30,495 from Mark Roberts Motors in Bartelsville, OK. This deal was smooth from start to finish. No gimmicks, no trying to mess with me at all. Highly reccommend them if your within driving distance and want a great price on any Honda or Dodge product.
That said, timing is everything as they say. This car was actually sold twice (almost) before it was put on eBay. The car was brought into the dealership especially for a guy who once he saw it said, he wanted a Sebring Silver instead. He left the dealer and the car was then put on eBay (last Saturday AM). 30 min later someone else calls (locally) and wants to see the car so he starts to head to the dealer and he wants it bad.
I used buy it now and called the salesman to confirm everything. An hour later not only the guy that was coming to buy the car and the first dumba** come back to try and purchase it.
It was of course LONG GONE!
We flew into Tulsa on Saturday noon and we were picked up at the Airport and then driven back 40 miles to the dealer. They showed us the car (both me and my wife just gasped at it!) We finished the paperwork, they went over all the details on how to do everything on the car and away we went!
Our trip home was such a blast! The best part is of course it was 700 miles to the house so we have an already broken in 2004! The last 10 miles home is uphill and full of S curves so I broke down and put the peddle to the metal just a bit!
This car is AWESOME! I can't stop grinning! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
We did have a good laugh the first time we filled up the car and couldn't find the fuel door release. Doh!
The only thing I could have lived with out was we ALMOST ran out of gas! We were (in the middle of nowhere, New Mexico) between Tucumcari and Santa Rosa. We had 1/3 tank of fuel and 60miles to Santa rosa so we drive on becasuse we were sure we could make 60 miles on a thrid of a tank. WRONG!
30 miles down the road we are driving with ZERO bars and no sign of life anywhere! We slowed down to 55 (in a 75!) and somehow we made it 10 miles further to a little hole in the wall gas station. They only had regular unleaded and Deisel! We put just enough to make it the rest of the way to Santa Rosa and we drove very easy to there and filled up with Super unleaded. (Whew!) The engine seemed to run just fine but like I said we drove very easy. Note to self, fill up at 1/3 a tank of gas!
This is one Keewl car! I will try and send some pics soon.

Looks like you had fun in your baby driving it home. Remember to check your oil periodically! Im not sure if the problem still occurs in the 04 but the 00-03's eat oil like its water till 10,000 miles.
