Ground Control / Koni and beyond
I'm considering Ground Control / Koni setup for my suspension mod. Application is under an inch of lowering, a few track days; I could afford a bit more but am not sure it's worthwhile. Surely there are 'better' setups, but from the opinions I've gathered, it's diminishing returns until you get into REAL high end coilovers with separate rebound & compression adjustments.
I'd like to understand WHY something like say Buddy Club or TEIN are considered better than GC/Koni - durability, higher spring rates considered 'better', matching of damper to spring, design, features, vendor support, etc. What's the deal? Also, any suggestions on where to get the GC/Koni?
