Default Guys at 50/50 Racing

Hi Everyone

I just thought I would share my experience for anyone thats interested in doing business with them. A couple months ago I bought a shortblock from Brian at 50/50 down in florida. We've been having nothing but problems with UPS shipping so I decided to take a lil trip down there to pick everything up. He's one of the coolest guys I've ever met and knows a lot about what he's doing. He's just a real down to earth normal kinda guy. I spent a whole week there and we even hung out a couple nights and I even helped him do some work on some of the cars he had there.

Eventhough I wasn't interested in doing a 2JZ swap he still took me for a ride in the car and even let me drive it. WOW is all I can say. He has even thrown in a couple of extra things for me having to wait so long.

He definately knows good customer service and how to take care of people. If I ever need anything els S2000 or Supra wise I will definately consult with him first. To the mods sorry if this is advertising or the wrong fourm. Just trying to share my experience for other people that are thinkin about doin business with them.

It just makes sense posting a region-specific shop review on a international forum, doesnt it?

It just makes no sense that a guest has to chastise a guest on any forum!

I have heard otherwise about the guys at 50/50 Racing from people who have brought their cars there ... however I will let them speak for themselves in time.

Yea he's a cool guy BUT my friend has had nothing but PROBLEMS with his car after 50/50 racing did work to it
Including blowing his engine due to POOR hg install.
Not to mention selling my friend a CM clutch kit but reusing the oem pressure plate (that was painted black)<~~ Unless clutch master's clutch kit comes with the honda oem pressure plate and they paint it from factory am sorry.
If not then thats some shady shit!
This is none of my business but after personally working on my friends car, removing his engine that blew am pissed at some of the stuff I've had to deal with from loose bolts to wrong bolts(standard size)to stripped drive shaft bolts its F@*&%^$# beyond me how this car stayed in one peace as long as it did.
Am sorry to say this but i dont wanna see any of my fellow s2k brothers or sisters get F@*$^^ like my friend did.
So NO i wouldnt even let them wash my car!!!!
