WOW...
It maybe pushing it but do you think they will do a group buy for even less?

Bilstein is coming out with specific sets for the S2000. Estimated price (in europe) around $1000USD. Height is adjustable but compression and rebound is fixed.
Spring rate is only marginally higher than stock, and it's a model of their PSS (professional suspension system) series.

Have a look at: http://www.bilstein.de/d/produkte/verstellung.html

I wonder if they will be better than the stock setup given their relative low price. Guess we will have to wait.

Great news.. Bilstein has always done excellent products, and the price you report is very attractive!

The simple translator I used makes to appear that damping rates are adjustable (maybe not independently) as well as height.

additionally to the vertical adjustment still another ninefold adjustment absorbing strength in addition comes.
HichTech with simplest handling is called here: With one " click " is everything different. As adjusted in racing the nine pre-programmed absorption characteristic diagrams via an adjusting wheel. That can complete everyone comfortably at home.

Chris,

The legend is for the PSS-9, the compression adjustable version. Unfortunately only the PSS version will be made for the S2000.

This product has been available for a few months for a few selected cars and is retailing now at around 1000 euros plus tax. Final price for the S2000 should be known by the end of the month.

I think we need to make sure they are double adjustable. I got that verbally from the tireRack guy.

To work at its best, a suspension system has to have its dampers (the shock absorbers) precisely matched to its springs. And the dampers have to be the best available, custom-designed from the ground up and carefully tuned by race-proven experts. That's where H&R Coil-Overs come into the picture. These complete units use the latest in dynamic damper technology. They are hand-made in Germany to rigid ISO9001 quality specs, with fully-threaded shock bodies to let you fine-tune your ride height quickly, easily and precisely. These are perfect for Porsche Club racing or similar track events, or even your wild, all-out street machine. They are tuned for the uncompromised handling you demand, but without the harshness you'd expect from a less-advanced suspension system.

From what I saw digging around on the web they are height adjustable, but I did not see any reference to the damper rates being adjustable.

I did see a separate comment in a post from an individual (unconfirmed, so just hearsay) that the dampers on some H&R models are sourced from Bilstein.

I am interested in improved units, especially at a reasonable price (at least as compared to the Mugan models), but sure would like to know some details.. spring rates, damper characteristics, etc.
