Default h1 led bulb

Hi all,

Have anyone try this LED light bulb type H1 for their s2000?
I saw this on Ebay

IIRC these only function as DRL's and not as high beams. I'd recommend going with the PIAA's if you're looking to attempt to match the HID's. Not perfect but better than stock.

Yes the post clearly says it's for DRL or fog lights.

To the best of my knowledge they don't have the LED lights out yet in the brightness to be a High Beam. I sure wish they did as I have a use for them in another car project.

I picked up a set of the "ultra-blue" LED H1 bulbs. Gonna put them on next year (tomorrow).

NFRAP1, post some pic to let us see how it look. If you can, do one in the daytime and one in the nighttime.
Thanks

I'll post some pics this weekend probably. I should of got the white ones, the blue's a little too,...blue.

Another thing is I will have to get new plastic pieces for my H1s if I want to go back to stock. The led H1s are bigger than a regular H1, but you have to use the plastic piece for the metal clip to keep it down. I hollowed out the plastic pieces with a dremel & drill.

If anyone cares, I'll be returning these for the "ultra-white".
