hardtop for roadster
 
hi all, if anyone can help me with this i sleep better at night,
i recently bought a 2001 S2000, and what i fantastic car it is too, anyway just a few days after i bought it, the dealer got a GT model which has a hardtop and i am wondering if there is anyway i can get a hardtop for my roadster or is the hardtop only for the GT model. please help!!!

Hardtops are available for all model years. I understand that in Europe, the GT model comes with it standard. You should be able to order it from any dealer.

Unless they have truly been discontinued and then you'd have to find one used. But yes with the install kit they can be made to work on any S2000.

I heard that same rumor - haven't heard anything definitive yet.

Dont believe anything coming out of your dealers/salesperson/etc... mouth. The hardtop is not discontinued in 2006.

In Europe you can buy either the S2000 roadster or the S2000 GT. The GT model is the same as the roadster model but it includes the OEM hardtop as well.

Its actually more economical to buy it with the hardtop (assuming you end up getting the hardtop afterwards). IIRC the hardtop is pretty cheap when purchased with the GT package.
