Enjoy the car! wear the tires out, corner, brake, accelerate like you stole the car... Why did you get an "S"? ;-)

Amazing you guys, I don't drive aggressive and I don't drive like grandma, my rear tires will soon need replacement around 20k miles.

I'm still on all four stock tires.

Given, the rears really need to be replaced ....
How do the front tires look now?
Do you think you can wear out another rear set before changing all four tires?

Weird..., I'm on my second set of fronts and my 3rd set of rears (RE 050's) at just under 20,000. Am I doing something wrong?

my bad, i didnt know there was a contest to see who could make their tires last the longest.
not about a contest, the guy is proclaiming his luck as he puts it, to not having to spend money and replace OEM tires through his warranty period.. merely posting to see if anyone else has been lucky enough to have this happen

two lame posts for you

i bought my02 a year ago with 19k and original tires (i believe) i now have 36.6k and just changed the rears.. the fronts are still strong, so I'm thinking they will last the life of my new rears and then at that time i will try something different (i.e. bigger wheels or different tire)..

Congrats. I haven't had a set of rears last over 9,000 miles yet.
