I added the headrest speakers after i have had my car for about 6 mos.

Got em from Harptop Guy for 400.00.....nice deal.....ok took em to my local

Honda dealer and 400.00 bucks later they were installed. Now that being

said there is no way in hell i would ever do that again.....they sound ok

but for 800.00 bucks i would try something different. All the stereo shops

around here said it would be to expensive to install something in the roll

hoops......little did i know. I still have the oem head unit which i will change

out to Alpine or someting of that quality. The moral of this story is check

out the prices to install anything on this car. Especially if Honda does it.

yeah, definitely check out the s-pods. Here's a site: http://www.roxspin.com/streetsmart/spods.asp

The factory ones look the best, but have the worst sound. It's just two tweeters behind your head.

How do you control the iPod? I noticed you have some sort of connection hooked up to it. Mind sharing the details of that setup with other s2k + iPod owners? :]

Check out www.mp3yourcar.com.

The Neo iON interface plugs into the CD changer port at the back of the stock head unit. I had the local Sound Advice install the interface. They ran the wire up the center console and out the bottom-inside of the glovebox. They charged me about $50.

I am very pleased with the Neo because the head unit and dash controls advance the iPod songs forward/backward. Since the bottom plug is used on the iPod (and not the headphone jack) the volume from the iPod is fixed and the iPod is always being charged.

If you don't care about keeping the stock head unit, check out Alpine's new iPod interface. I believe that it connects in a similar fashion to the new Alpine line of decks. With the Alpine deck, the artist, song, etc is displayed on the face of the head unit. This was not much of a plus for me because I cannot have the stereo door open while driving. I'm 6'4'' and the d*mn thing cuts into the side of my knee.

Hope this is helpful.
