Default Help with gift for S2k owner

A friend did me a favor and I would like to get him a gift in the 100-250 dollar range. He drives what appears to be a stock first model year S2k. I'm trying to think of something fun he can use that is not too mechanically oriented, and would appreciate any suggestions. I wish a V1 was not so expensive and am considering a G-Tech. Any other ideas? TIA Bill Z

My sugestion would be to get your friend a detail kit. A car is pretty personal, so buying your friend accessories is touchy. They may not like it. But i dont know ONE person here who doesnt enjoy a day of cleaning and detailing their S. You could get a whole package of cleaners and waxes and cloths and such for right around the price you said, if not less.
Just my two cents

Why not shop at one of our site sponsers? As far as what Xv7vX says, check out www.properautocare.com for some ideas.

Check out the site sponsors. Lots of essential 'goodies' can be found there that aren't too personal.

The site sponsors have some really cool stuff for the S. Or you could buy him gift certificates for oil changes, wheel allignments, etc...
Good luck

I would suggest buying them Rick's Accessories (site sponsor) nylon floor mats, they cost $200.00 and are apparently the best fit and quality for the S2000. The stock floor mats are terrible quality , too small, and don't even match the interior colors that well.

In my opinion any owner would be very happy with this as a gift.

Your friend is lucky to have such a thoughtful person buying them a gift!

I agree that accessories can be personal. For that matter so can waxes and polishes.

Maybe something cool and neutral like a digital tire pressure gauge, jack and stands, or a torque wrench. A site sponsor gift certificate is always a winner.

Go to HandA and get a ball cap and key chain to throw into the deal.

How about the OEM car cover? Check Honda dealers selling on eBay. They offer great prices on the original item.
