Help! My driver's side seat belt strap

Help! My driver's side seat belt strap squeaks against the back of the seat while driving. It's driving me crazy. There must be an easy fix for this. What is it?

Your seatbelt is rubbing the leather right by the seatbelt guide. Just put a piece of felt underneath the belt where it's rubbing the seat, then secure the felt by loosening up the 2 screws on the belt guide, sticking part of the felt underneath it and tightening it up.

Or.....purchase some self-stick velcro, and using the 'loop' portion of the hook and loop material, stick a small piece where it's rubbing the seat.

8x10 sheet of black sticky felt at michael's craft store. $1.29. go nuts and put felt everywhere - seat belt, roof contact points, around key hole, passenger seat belt area, etc.

Thanks for the help, I will try the black sticky felt, see how that works.

Will the adhesive on the underside of the felt harm the seat leather in any way?

I have the same problem. I found out that I remove the seat belt from the guide, the noise went away.

I'm going to try the felt. Does anyone have any pictures of this?
