After having my top slashed a body shop installed a new top for me and there seems to be a problem. The top sticks out farther than before and prevents the cover from going over it when retracted. Any advice on what might cause this? Other than this problem it works fine so I can't imagine it was installed incorrectly. Please help.

Cheapest and fastest solution: Don't put the cover on

Mine does that sometimes when the top hasn't been down in awhile. Just put the top down then up and down a few times and see what happens. It works for me

i've heard other people on the forum having this problem with new tops, some people say the top still has to break in and stretch out.
