i posted a lot about this, do a search for 'josh3io' and 'diff'. here's the main thread

i am now blacklisted by honda, they deny all claims the minute my VIN is reported.

as far as i'm concerned my zone rep, Terry Clemmer, can go to hell.

THey were very reluctant to replace the diff, it was done as one-time goodwill. Clemmer said that if she saw the diff before authorization she would have denied the claim. Oh, and it took two weeks to fix it because the service guys ordered the part incorrectly, and then failed to order bolts to reconnect to the rear wheels. Oh, they also failed to align my wheels after taking the rear end apart.

Since that time i've tried to get a broken frame stud replaced under warranty and my claim was denied before a part number was even mentioned. I have minimal modifications to the car.

Seems to me that Honda America is reluctant to take their heads out of their asses.

I got a stock replacement, when this one blows up I should have enough money saved to put in a kaaz and a reinforced housing.

Minimal means different things to different people. If you have or will install any aftermarket parts in the driveline, expect to be denied any warranty claims.

Truthfully, (no warranty to worry about now) how many dropclutch starts had you done with the car before the diff went?
