Help! Who designed it???
Hey everyone,
I heard a rumor that the designer of the S2000, also designed the "new" 2003+ Dodge Viper. Is this true, and does anyone know the designers name? I am doing a research paper for my marketing class. TIA |
I can tell you that Shigeru Uehara was the executive chief engineer for the S2000.
Not sure if that is *designer* per-se. -Matt |
doubt it.

re: viper: "A creation of Chrysler designer Tom Gale and his Team Viper, the original Viper ushered in a new era of American muscle, although not an era nearly as popular as the previous one - the one in the late '60s when muscle cars were relatively affordable. from:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?se...&article_id=209 "In shedding its original skin, the Viper has taken a huge step forward both in aesthetics and hardware. If the original inspiration of the car was Carroll Shelby's Cobra, a case could be made that lead designer Osamu Shikado has drawn on the sensual lines of a Ferrari." |
Osamu Shikado is the main designer for the new Viper SRT-10.
He's been with APD (Advanced Product Design) since 1994 Shigeru Uehara is the lead designer for Honda and was responsible for designing the NSX and the S2K. Peace. |
