Hit a something
I hit something, the end result was my driver side fender liner ripped off, I had to cut it behind the wheel. My right HID doesn't come on now and paint came off near the grille.
Update: So far parts have come out to $1225 for HID's, New Bumber, all fender liners and splash guards. Including ballasts ($559 each) in to the equation would be $2350, these are Honda dealer prices... I only need the front bumper painted so I took it to a body shop that Honda uses, he said he needed to blend the whole front in to the doors and that would be $1000 insurance quote but it would be better to just do the whole car for another $500 out of pocket, so $1500 together. Another guy who has done my parents cars and some of her neighbors said he could do the whole front for $500, seems cheap to me but he has some really nice classic cars being painted in his bays and my parents cars are color matched perfectly.
Any opinions appreciated, I need a decent quote as my deductible is $1000 but I don't want to go overboard with the costs. I'm going to one last place tomorrow that the Tampa area s2000's recommend. Would it be better to take it to a direct Honda dealership that has a body shop?

Check your insurance policy (on mine the renewal page shows my deductibles and the general coverage info very clearly on the first page) and see what your deductible is for comprehensive coverage. If it was my car, I would get a quick estimate on repairs from a local shop and then determine if it makes sense to involve insurance. If it's more than my deductible, then yes, I'm going to submit a claim. Repair costs can add up *very* quickly.

that would be a collission, with another auto or object, check your policy, subject to ded and if you are in calif, it's an at fault accident which means a change in your premium at renewal if over $1000 to fix, and ask your agent, that's what they are paid for....ask a "what if" question if you wish? Its comprehensive if you hit an animal.
