Hole in soft top but under dealer warrenty
Thank you for everyone's help in advance!
Earlier today I bought a 2006 s2000. It runs great, however I noticed that there were two holes (you can see light through it) in the soft top. I have no clue how I missed them.. One is about 1/2 inch and the other is a larger flap where water can easily get in (1 inch rip) I have a 30 day dealer warranty and on Monday I will be discussing this issue with them.
What should I expect the dealer to do? Would you keep a car with these issues under full warranty? Is this something that I should ask to get the soft top replaced or I walk?
Thank you again!! I am a bit lost.

It's a TSB and only that. Not an extnsion of the Warranty. A 2006 is out of warranty, period.
Your best bet is to see if it is covered under the "30 Day" warranty that came with car. But most dealer's used car warrnatys only cover the drive train with possibly a high deductable. Read you warranty paperwork. So......... with a new top costing $1500-$1800, you might get them to unwind the deal. Or, was the purchase price good enough to compensate for the top?
Another option is to repair the top. Honda does sell a patch kit and I've seen some repairs that look pretty good, but it will always show.
