The Del Sol never handled as well as the CRX, but comparing US models there was an option on the later Del Sol for the B16. The B16 started it all.

Interesting heritage argument - but do you think the new NSX, if they make it, will not have i-VTEC? Wouldn't that be marketing suicide, racing pedigree or not?

Everything said about the next gen nsx is a rumor. You're correct about the nsx being at the end of its life-cycle, and what a long life cycle that has been. You know, if the s2k gets ivtec and its a dramatic improvement, thumbs up. But we'll see...i still don't think it will get ivtec...now i have no reasons to support my thinking, except just a hunch.

The 99-00 Civic Si was a really fun car to drive. The 02 Si's are not fun to drive. The 99 was also nicer looking than the 02's are. The 99 was also cheaper than the 02's. The 02's have i-vtec and a larger motor, but aren't faster than the 99's. The 02's suspension comes no where close to the 99's suspensions.... From seeing this happen, i am afraid of whats to come for the 04 S2000. Higher price? Heavier car? I am afraid Honda may make another Si like mistake. By the way, a 99-00 civic Si used goes for more than a brand new 03 Si these days at the Honda dealers round here!
