I am a believer in NA engine, and FR for fun driving, but some of these youngster with turbo AWD keep on saying how superior AWD and turbo are, damn aren't they annoying. Let me say this... my wife drives the s2000 and I drive an AUDI S3 1.8 Turbo quattro.... believe me the AUDI S3 eats the s2000 on wet and twisty roads for breakfast/lunch and dinner. On the otherhand the s2000 is soo much fun to drive!

Wet twisty roads I can believe, but dry twisty roads, that's hard to believe.

Take into account he just registered today and this guy sure sounds like a troll. Any fool knows that RWD on dry pavement will eat AWD for lunch.

Like I said, I believe in RWD, it is just that the attitude of turbo AWD drivers on the road are arsehole like they are invisible. I know that RWD on dry pavement will eat AWD for lunch anytime. But power and suspension also to be put into account. You don't assume that S2000 will eat Sti or Evo on dry pavement for lunch do you. I am considering between the S2200 or RX-8, that is why I register to this board to find out more about the S2200. Damn, I can't believe the attitude is soo negative. Very hard to get some input for this car, isn't it. It is like every owner being so defensive with what they drive. Simple question in the Subaru thread about any RWD car, you'll be flamed. Mention Subaru in the Evo forum, or vice versa, you'll be flame badly. Same thing here. Should I start the thread like "My Honda NSX or Wrx Sti will eat your S2000 for lunch." I will be flamed anyway.

If you're considering between the RX-8 and the S2000, and you want to know more about them and how they compare, ASK. Your post was a flame bait post about AWD vs. RWD. Don't get all upset because people reacted accordingly. This forum is a great forum and the people here are very knowledgeable and more than willing to give other cars their due. But when your first post is flame bait then I have for you.

I apologize if it sounds like a flame bait. It is just that i am so upset with the input that I get from some of my active forums.
