Don't know if this is a repost but just found this on youtube. I've seen segments of this video before but not in its entirety. Gan-san goes on a date in Monte Carlo with the S2000.

I was just flicking through the video and wondered what a left hand drive S2000 was doing in Japan, and then I saw that it has a British number plate on it (still weird since we don't have left drive cars). So I ran S386 AJO through a DVLA vehicle enquiry and it came back that the car was first registered in August 1998 and was not re-taxed in September 1999 as it should have been. I suppose it was a press car and was crushed after the car was launched.

Looks like it could be a good video, just wish I knew how to understand Japanese!

Great video of the S. Now I wish we could see it with a translation into English, or at least subtitles. The sound of the S is music to my ears.

Can't understand Japanese either, but I think we get the gist of what they're saying. I like how when some car guys approach Gan-san in Monte Carlo at the end of the video, he says "Honda, new car!" - first time hearing him speak English.

I'm at work and can't view the video but for the guys requesting subtitles, if it's a Youtube video did you try turning on closed captioning/english? I've found that quite a few (not all) videos in other languages will often times have subtitles available. Worth checking if you haven't already. I will check this out when I get home

I've found a mirror of this video with the transcribed captions, and it didn't translate very well at all. The video itself is very well produced and would love to see a hard subbed version.

Nice ^ stock ap1 everyone should watch this before modding their s and ask the question am I making it better? Not too many stock cars can do this, this well. Driver was pro with the top down very nice.
