How to magazines get these 0-60 times?
In the most recent mention of the S in a magazine, they were able to get to 60 in 5.3 seconds. This makes me wonder 2 things. Whenever I try to rip off a few gears, the CDV just slip the hell out of the clutch. I seriously doubt the mag people are doing a CDV mod. So is the S really that quick WITH the CDV valve and would it somewhat quicker, maybe 5.1 seconds without the CDV??

The CDV really doesn't slow the car down. Not to flame, but if one were to drive it properly, it should be just as fast as the same car without CDV. Every car is a little different, you may just have to adjust your shifting/pedal work when you have the CDV, as opposed to not having it.
It's just different....not slower.

I sometimes wonder too
CDV should have a small impact, since the clutch doesn't engage fully while the clutch fluid's getting slowed down by the CDV. Thus power isn't fully transfered to the wheels for that split second.
Secondly, the AP2's second gear is a hairline shy of 60mph, and certainly is about 4km/h off of 100km/h. With that said, the car would require another shift, which should yield worse times.
But I dunno ... maybe those guys are THAT good
Or maybe the AP2 is just faster!!! Muhahahahha
