I just shipped an F20C short block (with crank, rods and pistons intact) without the head and it weighed 100 lbs according to FedEx. I also just shipped a head the other day (without valve cover) but I don't recall exactly how much it weighed...maybe 30-40 lbs.

148kg according to a German magazine that I have here. For comparision purposes, the 911 TT engine weights 280kg, F360 one 184kg and Diablo one 270kg.

I didn't know it had accessories other than the block heater...

Or are you talking belts, pulleys, alternator, intake/exhaust manifold, AC unit, etc.?

Indeed I am, and no one has anything about the tranny itself? Would I be able to install any tranny to it or is the six speed the only thing that it accepts?

You're trying to put the f20c and tranny into an unmentioned car type(according to your original question) and wanted to know the weights as far as what tranny will fit the motor, with enough money, I'm sure you could make anything fit.

I think 325 pounds is about right without all other engine bay components (but with some). You're looking at about 1,389 pounds in total vehicle front curb weight on the S2000, of course there are many components that factor into this weight; frame, suspension, tires, wheels, fluids, body panels, etc.

Unless someone has performed an autopsy on the S2000, knowing the exact weight of every component under the hood may not be known by most of us here.
