No matter how skilled of a driver you may be, it's nice to have the safety blanket when you get stuck in bad weather. It's less stressful to drive when you feel safer. For me, when you're driving on public roads, it's hard to predict the unpredictable so it's nice to have the VSA always working for me. When you don't see the oil patch or a wet spot on the road, VSA is always there for you. No doubt VSA always kills the fun but that's why Honda made the button to turn it off. I always recommend anyone buying the S to buy MY 06-09 if your budget allows. It's nice to have the option of the VSA.

I just got back from WTD with my new to me 2006. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't power up switch backs...until I turned VSA off approaching those corners. But I liked the VSA to save my bacon a few times. Plus, my wife doesn't know how to turn it off:)

That's pretty funny. (Although I imagine there could possibly could be some negative consequences should she ever accidentally disable it.)
