I don't VTEC in traffic, on busy streets, or taking off from city red lights. This is dangerous and expensive (traffic court). Getting on the freeway and on country roads - now that's VTEC country!

It depends on the drive - these days I have a 60 mile highway commute with relatively little traffic - so, VTEC range is only when accelerating from the 2 high entrance ramps. But on other drives, like on sunday mornings around a cloverleaf highway intersection, quite a few more VTEC occurances...
