Well, it appears the Robbins is a true cloth top and I don't know what the material is made of. You might try a warm iron and increase the heat slowly. You don't want to damage the cloth especially if it is synthetic so go slowly.

Contact Robbins, they should replace it under warranty.

I cannot recall if there is a way to tension that part side to side. I have removed a soft top, I have reinstalled just the rear portion of one that was partially uninstalled, but I have never messed with that center portion on install before. Normally most wrinkles come out after sitting in the sun a bit but it sounds like you have had it in there a while
Yea the car is garage kept, but by now I think it should have seen enough direct sunlight hot days to work anything out. When first installed to no surprise it was extremely tight and required several days to get the latches to reach and hook, but now it's no problem. So I think the stretching and it reaching its final form has happened. But yea the cold temps in CO certainly aren't helping the cause at the moment. I've yanked and pulled on this interior bar where it wraps around and it'll slide and stretch a little bit, but then work its way back to the rippled position. I honestly forget how it's seated in that bar, but iirc it was just pushed in and then sorta crimped closed. I'm tempted to put the top down a bit where there's no tension, pry that bar open, pull out the top and try to re-seat it, but feel I'd be sawing table legs at that point and cause some other issue.

Tempted to do this as it does almost seem like a flaw in the material given how taught the rest of the top is, strange that this just ripples up when there's no real obvious signs of installation error or binding anywhere else.

Thanks for the tip, that's a good idea. I'll reach out to them and see what their suggestion is. Would hate to reinstall it, but might give me more confidence do some iron or other heat applications if I have a backup.

Who installed the top, that is, was he one who has done this car before? I have not replaced my top but many opine that the key is having someone well versed in installation.

What about carefully using a steamer?

It was me, someone not well versed at all haha. But printed about 5 diff instruction sets and had 10 YouTube videos going. So as good as one could get. Took about a week doing it slow.

I'll give that a go, doesn't seem like it would be permanent though.

My sample of one (1) does not show this problem. I leave the roof UP when the car isn't being driven. It's in my garage roof UP as I type this. Not sure if this has any effect on the fabric but it does keep the interior clean.
