It really depends, when I bought my daily I could have paid cash, but instead I used that money to put down on a 495 sq ft town house close to the chemical refineries on the gulf coast. It had a renter almost immediately and makes a nice profit that pays for itself and my car payment. Paying cash for a car almost never makes sense, surely you can find better use for your money.
