This is the reason I don't want a hard top...PITA to remove and I only put the top up when it's raining.

My wife helps me everytime, she's 5'7" and 123, not an issue. She's also a meat cutter and has pretty good guns. Most women are actually stronger than guys give them credit for, I can't imagine any women that can't handle 1/2 of a 40 lbs top, I think she just bagged on you, maybe it has more to do with mental capacity than muscle.

Not a very good excuse to dump a good women but if she's not the one than who cares? To the curb!!

It is up to you to ensure that she has good instructions, can't assume she understands what your thinking.

I really do need a hoist, but unfortunately I'm no longer in a house... I'm in an apartment. I think they have garages that we can rent, if so I'm probably going to get one.

I liked the HT on my na miata but unless you have someone to help you or happen to have a hoist to remove it then it is pretty much stuck on the car. Plus if you leave the soft top on w/ it youre just increasing the weight. I think they look great but do they improve the rigidity that much more on the s2000? I know it did on the miata.

Sell the hardtop, buy her a ring, and enjoy a lifetime of top down bliss with your hottie!

There are a couple of problems with that...
1) We only started seeing each other recently
2) We aren't even facebook-official yet... huge deal if you're under 25
3) I thought it was a good idea to remove the soft-top a few years ago while drinking with friends.... yeah I am an idiot

I don't think it improves the rigidity, but it makes everything quieter, gives me more visibility, and looks way better.
