It can go as high as $40,000.

It's stupid! But, they're that desireable now.

Did they not go close to $30-40k 9-18 years ago? $40K 15 years ago is a lot more money than todays $40K. $100/month storage fee could cost half of that. I think its just holding its value and not inflated.

What a messed up S2K! I wouldn’t give him $200.00 for it.

Wait, hold up!! I wanna know this guys secrets for making 350 hp on an NA S2000! This ad gives us such a bad name. I get we own Hondas but that is the typical stereo-type we all stay away from... God awful shift knob, neo-chrome steering wheel and wtf is that sticker bomb crap around the license plate?? This has "ricer" written all over it!! How much you wanna bet it's straight piped too!? But the sad thing is some young kid will convince mommy or daddy that this is a rare "JDM" car with so many great mods that he has to have it and it will be wrapped around a tree in under a week... Sad, but true.

25k is not exactly a lot of money for a highly desirable roadster. They don't make cars like this any longer, & it's a fabulous machine.
If I were to sell mine I'd seriously not let it go for less than $35k with all I've invested into it, the condition, miles and performance level. Within my network I have friends who've already told me they would buy it off me if I ever considered getting rid of it... I plan on holding this one for life though.

I had a guy offer me $4K more than the price paid for my S just a couple of months after buying it. At that point I had spent more time finding the car than I had actually spent owning it so I didn't have the nerve to call his bluff. Even if I had, I'd guess that nothing would have happened.

I accept the fact that the more time I spend driving and enjoying this car the less it's worth. If you want to think of these cars as an investment, then maybe just think of them as an investment in your happiness. In that case the S2000 really does provide a pretty good return on investment.

I don't get hand wringing and complaining over rising prices. It's better for us for prices to be going up, and also you gotta pay to play anyway. Hunt around long enough and you'll find a deal or be able to negotiate with someone. It's asking prices anyway, and there are always wild people out there

You can definitely notice the recent upward trend of the s2000 CR models recently. Few individuals are practically buying mildly modded examples, returning them to stock, and putting them back up on the market for nearly double the price they bought them for. I'm all for the appreciation of our cars but certain people that deliberately do this out of greed and to make them unattainable for the majority is annoying to see.
