A de-tuned CIVIC engine... PULEEZE. Honda, you can do better than that.

That's better than I expected. Thanks. I didn't know that engine's specs I'd take 300.

Man I hope it takes the crown again as best hp per liter NA. That would be insane. I dont care if it doesn't have any tq. With all the technology today, I expect 140hp per liter or better! Thats what the s2000 was known for! People who don't know are always shocked when I let them know its only a 2 liter making 240hp. "My v6 don't make that!"

Well, the AP1/2 were already pretty high up on the torque per liter at 76lb-ft/L (a little higher in JDM trim). The highest tq/l was the BMW S54 with 83lb-ft/L.

Even IF it can beat the S54, I don't see more than 85/L, and to do that they would need DI and very high compression. That would yield 170 lb-ft from 2.0L...so just a tad more than a F22.

To get that to 300HP NA with 170 lb-ft it would need to make that 170 lb-ft at 9300RPM. With a warranty. And it would have to pass emissions.

If this ever comes out, it'll have a turbo from the CTR.

V6? Heck my 94 Thunderbird with a 4.6L V8 does not make that! (I will grant you more torque but still!!!!!!!)
