hey guys, im planning on buying a 2006 S2K, n i wanted to know if i can install a comptech SC on it, coz i heard from some friends that 2006 engines' electronics will cause me problems when i do that? fill me in please

how exoensive is it to make a SC for the 06+, is it worth it since s2k might end production soon and not that many #s to pay back for R and D?

IMO I think it would be stupid for them not to come out with something. They really shouldn't be driven by a rumor to not make any R&D for a SC for an 06. Even if it is the last year, there are still going to be many units sold I'm sure. But anyway... that has been an ongoing rumor since the car came out, so until I see it happen, to me it is just a floating rumor.

There are supposedly a few companies out there already doing R&D on aftermarket parts for the 06, so maybe others should follow.

Last I heard from the FI forum was that Comptech was developing a SC'er kit for the '06 that should be out soon. I don't remember the exact time frame though.

Your best bet would be to contact Comptech and see what they say as far as coming out with a kit to solve the issues with the MY06's.
