Default Ideal body type for this car?

This car seems to only fit a specific range of body types, are any of you or do you know any S owners who are very tall or very large and can still drive comfortably?

I can't imagine anyone over about 6'3" would enjoy this car much.

Yeah most tall people are not going to comfortably fit - at least not for long periods of time... I have a few friends in the 6 foot range that have driven mine and need the seat all the way back... not sure exactly what information you want out of this thread though...

Also this car must suck for ugly people because you are advertising your face to the world and you wanna be good looking or you can just invest in a hard top and do the world a favor.

I think anyone over 6 ft 1" is going to be uncomfortable. That is my height and it took me a long time to find a good seating position , it was a bit painful to drive at first but I got used to it. I think the perfect body size is going to resemble the Japanese engineers who designed it, definitely someone with narrow hips - 32 inch waist or smaller IMO. Weight wise the lighter the better, probably 175 lbs or less is ideal.

BTW how large is that driver in the photo ?

Seriously though, like if a guy who looks like Steve Buscemi rolls up in an S2K with the top down and is like "Hey ladies".

I'm 204lb and a 36in waist and don't feel uncomfortable in the seat, but if anything my shoulders are a little tight. I'm only 5ft 11in but have short legs and a long upper body - when sitting I have about the same eye level as as people 6ft 3in/6ft 4in. Eye level is getting towards the "slightly annoying" range with respect to the windshield frame but I've quickly accepted it. I guess I could try reclining the seat more but I'd rather not.

Okay, I kind of look like this guy.

I sometimes envy taller guys but not in this case. After finding many modern motorcycles a bit on the tall side for my liking, my size finally worked to my advantage when it came to the S2000. At 5' 8" and 170 lbs with a 32" waist, this car feels pretty much perfect to me. More comfortable than I was expecting in most regards.

Just shy of 6'3 and around 230, large frame. I barely fit comfortably and long drives get sore. Getting in and out is sort of annoying as well. I love the car but wish it was a bit larger.... but I wanted something this size.

My other main car is a lifted Jeep Wrangler. The S about comes up to it's fenders. The difference in driver perspective is jarring if I drive one for a long time then swap to the other.

Finaly point: I'm putting in a Back Yard Special seat lowering kit this year. Trying to find a good deal on one. Cheaper from Japan but then it's $115 in shipping... Hopefully it's the best option. Only 20mm though. And my GF drives the car as well once in a while, so I don't want a racing bucket.
