I voted CR as well. For an average person, go for 2009. No soft top, so going topless isnt easy. CR is definitely a little more hardcore. I love track driving, hence picking the CR for my vote.

hmmm yes i would go with the CR. its nice looking, it will attract attention, it will hold its value too. My only concern would be the lack of a soft top. For me, i love going top down and might regret getting a CR, but if its not a problem with you than i would go for it!

If the S2000 is your daily driver get the 2009...if it's a fun car only get the CR.
I would actually omit the A/C...I only use my A/C maybe a couple times per year.
A stereo on the other hand...only adds several pounds and I could not live without music.

I chose 2009. In reality I'd say any 06+ that you can find in good shape; being 2009 has nothing to do with it. If the ECU can be flashed I'd own it.
Reasons for me personally:
- I don't care for the CR look (saw one in person and confirmed this--disliked the front and the spoiler both)
- No soft top
- Price premium for what I consider to be a lesser overall package
If you are serious about tracking the car you'll probably replace the shocks/springs on either car anyways so that is moot as well. At that point a CR really doesn't have anything else going for it.
