Import a VGS/Non VGS??
Hi Guys and girls!
I've started looking with an importer to bring an S2k into Canada. my only question is do I import a VGS or NON VGS s2k?
I've searched the threads and am undecided on which to import. I want to do some tracking with the car and would believe this would be great for tracking purposes as well as daily driving on twistie roads...
questions I have about the VGS:
How reliable is the system?
is it a wear and tear item?
if I need to replace the unit, could I order one form the dealer?
Any feedback on those that own a VGS model would be greatly appreciated!!

The VGS version would be great for a street car but I'd be surprised if any specific VGS parts were obtainable in North America. Or elsewhere as I assume production was very limited and ended years ago.
Any reason to not just get a S2000 that's already in North America?

Most of the cars I've seen at in Canada are branded salvage/rebuilt or area silver/grey. I just started looking in America as well.
I can import one from japan that hasn't been in an accident, and has low'ish km's (100k-150k)

Only thing I know about Canadian import laws is they're different and a bit more permissive than US laws. Any idea how many Type V cars were produced? The steering is very quick. And the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

Hello!
I own a 2003 S2000 VGS, I am trying to figure out how many of them were built with no success. If its easy to import one in Canada, I would really recommend one over the standard S2000, as its more unique and fun to drive. Also, I've owned my car for 4 years now, and I had no issues with the VGS system!
