Default Unbelievable

I tend to be very possessive about things I care about, including my S. I've had it for 5 months and have never let my wife drive it alone. I wax it on a regular basis and have zero door dings...perfect. Tonight, for the first time, I willingly let my wife drive about a half mile up the road to get Chinese food alone. When she got back, she pulled too far into the garage and hit our garage stairs, causing the paint to peel about as much as if you were to dig two thumbnails into the paint and pull back a few millimeters. The paint is damaged just left of the right headlight (if you're facing the front) and is quite noticeable. What options do I have other than having the entire front of the car repainted? Are there any other options? Unbelievable.

Divorce?

Seriously, take it to a body shop. Sounds like the bumper cover will need to be repainted.

no sex for a couple weeks. act really distant too. and when your spouse asks you what's wrong, just say, "Nothing." and if you're pressed to please talk and say what's on your mind say, "Nothing! God, I feel so smothered sometimes!" and storm off, crying, and slam the bedroom door behind you. then depending on how dramatic you want to be, consider sleeping over at your mother's house.

oh whoops, you're the husband! sorry bud, your shit outta options. just get it repainted and move on.

I have no idea how much a repaint of the front bumper should cost. Any idea?

Take photographs of the scene/damage before you do anything. If you ever sell this car, the buyer - if he/she has a clue - will want to know why it has had new paint.

Don't worry about it. It's only a car.

It's only a car...it's ok, there are bigger problems in this world. Good luck with repairs.
