hey i have a 03 and i put a 06 soft top in mines but i just put the whole frame and everything in with motors would that change or make a diff when
putting the top down?

Robbins here in the US makes a specific roof kit to put a new roof with a glass rear window in the very early cars. I found these hints on the Robbins auto top website. These will probably apply to cars sold in the EU as well.
Honda 2000-01 S2000 convertible top. Robbins core number 2537.Top with Non-Original Non-Heated Glass Window. Before installing top, Retrofit Bow strap Kit must be installed (included in box). Two Tenax studs in well area must be replaced with Nylon Push Fasteners (included in box). No zipper, No Rain Rail. CAUTION: When installing top carefully remove 5 plastic interior trim pieces to avoid breaking clips.For model year(s) 2000, 2001 and model(s) S2000.
Ideally you should find someone with the experience and tools needed to this job as it's easy to botch and have the trunk/boot flood every time it rains or you wash the car.
I need to replace my 2001 top and would like to go with glass. I was told by one installer that if you switch to glass you will need to fold the glass in manually. is this true?
