ITR Vs S2000

HI all,
I don't have the S2000 but I am a Honda fan. I currently have an 00 ITR and very happy with it but I plan on getting the S2000 later when there are major changes with the car like I-VTEC and other stuff. I wanted to get one at the time but too pricey with dealer's markup so ended up with the ITR. I know the S2000 is a little bit better in performance but I have not driven one so I don't really know.
To the people that owned or have owned both, please tell me your experiences with both cars. Thanks

i just brought a 02 yellow S2000 and i also have a 00 yellow itr. i love both cars, i think on s2000 the steering feel is more tighter than the itr, and plus the s2000 is rear wheel drive, none of that torque steer, and it feels like it has a little bit more power...well i had some mods on my itr, so i didnt notice that much power increase on the s2000. but in the end the s2000 is a covertible, there is no comparison on that part:D

Ditto except for a silver S2000 and a white ITR. Well put Spoon.

i think itr rev quicker and respond better

2001 silver S2000 never run
2001 yellow itr < 14.62 @94.98> for SALE

respond better? I found the ITR's steering wheel to be rather large and numb feeling for the first few degrees of turning...

I really want to test drive the S2000 but I don't think there would be a dealer out there lets me test drive. I mean REAL test drive like when we do racing. A normal drive is not going to cut it. Yeah, the convertible is NICE.

Hi SPOONS2000, what kind of mods did you have on the ITR?

SPO0NS2O0O 12-16-2001 10:18 PM

i didnt have that much mods......i have an AEM cold air intake, apex catback N1 exhaust, apex V-afc controller, and JUN cam gears, i love the sound of v-tec after i put in the intake and the exhaust, it sounds very aggressive, my S2000 dosent have that much of aggressive sound:( ....i was just wondering is it the intake or the exhaust that makes the v-tec sound like that, or have to have both.
