Default JDM question please help!

Hi, I am trying to swap out the Honda emblems i got for my car with the JDM Red Honda emblems, but the only oem official red emblems that fit are for ap1 (2000-2003) models only. Apparently the pins dont line up with the ap2 models which i have. i called my dealer and they said that i could just use the adhesive and don't use the pins but i don't want to risk it falling off or stolen since it is expensive. anyone know where i can buy ap2 red emblems for the s2000 where the pins will line up? any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

edit: near the bottom i posted the emblems i just got today in the mail, along with a few questions. (Do they look real? which emblems goes on front/back?)

I'd say ebay. This is the correct way to do it. Just break/cut the pins deeper than the adhesive and don't use the holes.

I put JDM badges on my car with no pins. Just used the adhesive to hold them in place and they have been on for 2years with no issues (its the same adhesive that holds your S2000 emblems on and I have never heard of them falling off

the posts will fit through the holes so there shouldn't be any reason to shave them off.

Ghostface killa bee's on a swarm!

yup... just cut the pins... the emblem wont fall off.

Think the pins are there to help center the emblem and not really to hold it onto the bumper.

wu-tang for the children!

yeah, lots of emblems for various cars are applied using only adhesive. the pins are only to keep the emblem centered.

1. Buy emblems off ebay
2. Dremel or cut off prongs
3. Clean surface
4. Attach new badge

Done.
