Default Just drove a Porsche GT3

I have been tossing around the idea of buying a cayman so I went to test drive one today. While I was there, there was a used 2009 GT3 sitting in the lot. I decided to take that for a spin when I was highly surprised that my S feels a lot faster. I had this thing floored to the redline on the highway and said to myself "that's it?"

BTW I have an AP2 w/ the PTuning kit gtx30 turbo pushing about 447.4 HP & 319.1 torque the wheels.

Your S has more power and is lighter than the GT3, it feels faster because it is faster. The power delivery is also going to be much smoother on a GT3 vs. a turbo F22.

I mean dude, you have a 450whp s2k.. Not a lot of stock cars are going to keep up with that. If you drove a GT3 for freeway pulls you drove the wrong car. Hop in a bolt on turbo for that, but when you're in a GT3 enjoy the symphony of perfection that it is.

this thread is pretty useless. How are you going to compare them. Of course your higher hp and lighter S is going to be faster then a stock GT3.

I have never researched the specs for the GT3 before test driving it. I assumed it would be faster than my S just from the looks and the price tag. Just sharing my thoughts on here while I was on the test drive. After doing some research on the car of course it makes sense that my car would feel faster.

It might feel faster, but it's not.

Unless your S goes faster than 193mph.

well torque and acceleration wise his is faster, whether or not his top speed is that high, I don't know, but being faster doesn't mean you need a higher top speed

That I doubt, but he said he did pulls on the highway. Don't know about from a standstill. I'm going off what he's saying. I know how fast a GT3 is
