Default Lease Take Over?

ok i have a 2005 NFR S2000, with 3500 miles, got the car in june, drove it off the lot with basically 700 dollars out of pocket, its a 36 month lease @ 366 a month. I dont know the exact residual, but i believe its 18 or 19k around there. So would it be possible to do a lease lease take over? i know BMW does it and a couple of other car companies do it. the reason i ask is that i may have to get a different car maybe in the next 3-6 months, but hopefully i dont have to. i think i got a good deal on the car and would rather pass it on to someone else, rather than just trade the car in, while losing 2-3k dollars.

what do you think? can it be done?

reasoning behind this, i might need something with backseats because i sold my RSX which was my back seat back up car haha

thanks!!!!
