I am looking for a 2008-09 GPW/Red S2000. Where is the best place to post? I am an NSX owner and NSXPRIME member. On PRIME, we have a sub forum for those looking for a particular vehicle. I could not find anything similar on S2KI.com. Ideally looking for pristine low mileage garage queen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

^^^ 218, by that count. Fortunately, every non-CR 2008+ has a red interior so that makes the search easier.

Jimmy-Buffett, What are your thoughts on the low mile S2000 in New Jersey? What would it cost to purchase the correct wheels? I am new to the S2000 community and just starting to try to get educated. Appreciate the help.

It looks fine from the photos, the price is pretty high though. Replacing the wheels will be $1000-1500 if you can find them, the AP2v3's are hard to come by as they were only installed on the 2008+ cars (less than 2000 total sets when you subtract out the CR's).

What made you pick that very specific color combination and year? I would re-evaluate that part of your wish-list. The two main differences between the '06 and the '08 are the new wheels (AP2v2 -> AP2v3) and Honda adding TPMS sensors in the wheels (federally mandated on all cars in 2008). There were slight suspension changes as well, but otherwise the 2006+ cars are all mechanically identical.

Click the AutoTrader link I posted earlier and revise the requirements to be 2006+ White and you'll see 5 cars with under 40K miles. Pick a few more colors and that number is sure to go up.

I really have my heart set on an AP2 in GPW and all red interior. The only years they were available were 2008-09. An 06+ GPW/red black might work and LBP is also a very beautiful color. With only 218 cars ever sold, might be very hard to find at a reasonable price. The one in New Jersey seems about 3k too high.

The 08-09 base GPW cars had red/black interior. The dash and roll hoops were black, the seats had black sides. 2002 was the only year GPW came with the all red interior.

It is definitely a rare combo. There is the option if you are patient to do an interior swap on another GPW if you find a mint condition GPW with black interior. You could add red carpets and seats, and I think that is the only OEM difference. That said, red carpets and seats are not the easiest to come across, so it'd be a project as well. If you were to find good late AP2 red seats, might be an option to jump on those, start looking for a GPW/black and do a swap. The carpet would be a little easier to find than the newer seats. I have seen some beautiful interior swaps though, black to tan, black to red, and non-factory combos like tan in the red S2000's, Ferrari style. Good condition seats and carpet look beautiful.
