Default looking to tow jetski

So im looking at possibly purchasing a single place trailer for one of my jet skis and towing with my s2k every so often so that i dont have to drive my gas hog truck everywhere. Is there any recommandations to what kind of hitch to buy for this??? I understand that you shouldnt tow with a s2k but it would be a rare occasion just so i dont have to drive the double trailer everywhere?

Please dont do this. Maybe with a Mustang GT, but not with a S2K.

that's what most people think. if you know what you are doing, the back of the tow rig wont touch the water.

I'm sure the S will tow it, but someone mentioned last time that your insurance probably wont cover you if you were in an accident since it's not a tow vehicle. so you might want to look into your policy first.

another option is buy an early 90's toyota/nissan 4cyl 5 spd. safe, exrta space for your gear and food, and a great beater for the winter.

I agree - I have a 95 4Runner for things like utility trailer etc. S2000 isn't made for towing unless you are German.

hahahahhaha, well thanks for the responses guys. they were entertaining and i appreciate them. This is only a idea as of right now. But honestly i dont think it would be a big problem. My buddy tows a jet ski with a 4 cylinder accord and that thing is rather weak when it comes to the motor. I dont think a s2k would have a problem with it. I already have a beater for winter. I just dont feel like insuring 2 vehicles if i dont have to. I dunno we will see.

I say go for it...the S should tow it no problem. The ramp into the water would scare me. I know you said you can do it without getting the hitch all the way in the water but the ramp is still going to be wet from waves and people pulling boats in and out. Plus they usually have gravel and other stuff. I've considered towing a jetski with my S and my solution would be to put a winch on the tow hook to lower the trailer in and out of the water with the S at a good safe distance away from the water.
