I had this happen and I ran the gas to empty then added some octane boost (small bottle) to the tank and then filled with Chevron and or 76 high Octane. Sometimes it will still do it, also check your gas cap and make sure it's on tight, something I heard once about vapor lock?

Had the same thing happen to me today w/ aprox. 550 miles on the odo. I had been running twisties for about 2 hours straight. Came to a stop sign. Stalled when I pulled away from the line (which was at normal revs I always start with in 1st). That's only the second time I've stalled it like that. The first was driving it home from the dealer.

I couldnt get the car to start right away. Took about 3-4 tries. Then, it starts up and idles real weak for a few seconds and finally catches revs. Seemed OK after that.

Temperature was about 70 degrees F. and engine temp showed 3 bars. A/C off. I didn't run over 5500 rpms; so not due to VTEC in my case, just cruising on windy roads. Checked oil level 2 hours after I got home and its just above middle point between L and H (not sure if I should add oil yet).

It was weird because I had just read this post last night and so it didn't seem so unexpected. But it doesn't seem normal either! If this happens again, I'm gonna take the key out of ign b4 I try starting the engine again I think. See if that helps.
