Lug nut torque?

Just for piece of mind for the DIY non-torquers. 80 ft-lbs is pretty freaking tight and beyond the limits of what a lot of people can torque their lugs to with the stock wrench (or at least care to use that much effort). Some less expensive torque wrenches don't even go that high.

Didnt seem to be such a big problem when i saw the auto shop torque my aftermarket lugs in. They torqued my AFTERMARKET lugs in at 90lbs. looked very simple.. All you have to wait for is 2 clicks. But if your not sure, look into this with a mechanic.

i guess it depends on your strength. i put some wheels on at a friends house and tightened them by hand. when i later re-tq'd with a wrench, i have over tightened all the lugs. 90lbs on most of them, 118lbs on one of them!
