Default Maserati and No S2K or S2k and Z06?

Alright, so I posted a message about trading my 993 and S2K for a 996TT and I've since changed my mind on the car.

I'm thinking more practicality like the C4S or Maserati. After driving the Maserati it is an awesome car. Sound great and pulls hard yet has a great ride. Quintessential GT. My 993 is already sold, so I can replace it with a Z06, or sell the S2K also and get the Maserati.

What do you think? My plan with the Z is to do Yellow, lower it and put some wheels on it. THen it should look fairly exotic.

Hello,

It's a point of view of an European : The Z06 seems to be powerful but it is less "sport" that a BMW M3 for example and you will be disppointed after have a 993...

Maserati is an excellent choice. In convertible of coupe ? With a convertible, you will have two in one ! In the french magazine Sport Auto, it is the best convertible instead of Ferrari and Porsche. A regret : the rear lights are not in boomrang style

Also, 996 Twin Turbo give you an exceptionnal conpromise Power/performance/chassis/etc...
It has 10/10 in Sport Auto...

Which prices in USA ?

Bye
Philippe

I'd go for the S and Z06. It would be great to have a choice to match my moods and teh two together will be much less expensive to maintain. Although, it does mean having TWO cars to wash and Zaino!

Never cared for the Maserati in any form. Wish I had a Z06 though.

I've driven the new Maserati Spider wt the paddle shift and it was amazing, but i seriously think the S2000 looks better, but name gaes a long long way. If I had your bling, bling. i'd prolly wait for the SL55 AMG or a 911.

Somehow I can't see anyone contemplatng a 996 TT or Maser Spyder driving a Z06 around... While it's a truly awesome performer at an amazing price (for the performance), it has nowhere near the refininement or panache of either of the two above cars...

I reiterate my recomendation of a 996 C4S and an S2000.

Why did u drop out on the 996TT?? Have you driven it??
I have a friend with both a 993TT and a 996TT and i HATE to say it, but i'd drive my s headlong into a brick wall for either one... Not to mention the opulance of having BOTH (hate him...LOL).
I was in awe my first spin in the 993TT Literally nothing like 415HP pumping to all 4 wheels...WOW. But then came the 996TT, european version even!! 450HP. Words just dont describe. If you have not spent some time behind the wheel, PLEASE do. Even if you dont get one, it will change your life.

BTW... the 996TT will be for sale soon.

cheers
