A Miata driver threw a wave to me this morning in a drive-thru...
He was in front of me and I assume he thought I looked like a Miata in his rear-view. I waved back to be nice, but a little bit of me died inside...

So because another car guy/girl was nice to you and gave a wave, you died a bit inside?
You have no idea if they thought that you were another miata, or if he/she just liked your car, or the fact you were another roadster and wanted to say hello cause we share small car struggle, or maybe you just seemed like you were having a bad day/irritated and needed something that would give you a smile, or perhaps they thought you were attractive,

So because another car guy/girl was nice to you and gave a wave, you died a bit inside?

Good God... I didn't literally die a little inside. I was playing on the general sentiment that our cars aren't Miatas and often get mistaken for one. It didn't really bother me, I'm just apparently bad at making jokes. I'll keep them to myself I guess. Lol. Smh
