mix-n-match body, hardtop colors

I like the black hardtop with opposite colors so you don't have to worry about the paint not matching up. I've had my red/blk for close to a year, and though it's rarely been left out in the sun, seems there might be enough difference in the color shade that the reds might be different.

I think the black top will look bad on any color but black.
If the black top were matte black it would look fine. In fact it would look much as the car does now with the softtop. However I'm sure it will be a gloss black to match the paint on the black cars.
This will look very strange combined with any other color.
A raw carbon fiber black top like Giampiero has been talking about would look great IMHO.
Any news Giampiero?

I've seen the Boxter in Scottsdale also. Looks great. I've got silver/black with Rick's mods also. I think the black hard top looks best. Esp. with tape left on.

Personally I like the Black Top on Silver, but would never buy it since I never put the soft top up .
