Moisture In Headlights?!

So i just got my car back from the body shop, washed my car for the first time in 2 week since it hailed here, all the dents pulled out nice, thanks god... but anyway after i washed it when i went to wax it up i notcied that there is mositure in my right side headlight, i am just wondering if this is going to be a big problem being a H.I.D. assembly or should i just not worry about it?

Worry...the water will collect at the bottom of the headlight and corrode the ballast causing it to blow. The ballast can cost upwards of $400USD.

Why was the car at the body shop? Accident? If so, it is possible the headlight housing was damaged and not replaced or the housing they bought to replace the original was "reconditioned" and not done properly.

It is also possible that it is something as simple as the seal around the headlight bulb/socket is not tight.

Usually, the headlight has to be removed and bulb/socket pulled so the moisture can dry out. Can take a couple hours or a few minutes if you bake it in an oven (strange I know, but it works).

i think that there are instructions for removal on ricks website if you decide to fix this yourself

ricks2k.com

find out from the body shop (or look at their bill) whether they replaced the lights... if so, they should replace it again.
