Rumor has it that Honda will offer a new subwoofer designed to go in the spare tire (saw this same subwoofer setup in this month's MotorTrend or Car and Driver review of the RSX) they have a picture of the one in the RSX. Looks slick. Don't think the sub that was originally planned from Keltic (sp?) Bassworks was ever released.
Also, to be released the same time as the sub, the local dealer says there will be a tweeter kit available for the S2000 later this year. |
By tweeter kit, do they mean an addon to the A-pillar?
That'd be nice. |
I hope that stuff becomes available

Would Honda reallybe your first choice for audio accessories?

I got an email some time back from HandAaccessories that seemed to confirm this.
The email stated that the subwoofer for the stook would not go under the passenger seat (as originally thought) but intstead fit in the spare. Not sure what that does for you if you get a flat! the email went on to discuss a pillar mounted tweeters becoming available as well. both were supposed to be available later this year. |
I'd be interested in that.

Could you post the email?

No no no...if you lift up the bottom mat at the bottom of the trunk where the jack is you will see a hole in the middle of it all about 1 1/2' by 1'. This is where the woofer goes...if you go to http://www.handaaccessories.com you can see a picture of it.
